Flip flops are appropriate for casual occasions. The beach. Weekend brunch. Never a bar or restaurant. Spend the 10 bucks to get nice, clean ones every year. Chuck the ones with college shower mold.
Yes, women will look at you twice in the salon, but if your dogs are crusty, go anyway! Just don't get polish. No matter what the nice lady wielding the nail file says.
And no, don't wax your toes (WHO have you been listening to!!!). You'll just get toe stubble. Weird.
