There are a lot of rules at this 'speakeasy'. Note to Bars: speakeasies did not traditionally have all these rules. Service was king in the old days. King. Okay, back to our review. That aspect of the old days is not true at this modern speakeasy where attitude reigns. So service is slow and you will feel cramped in your booth, but make your reservation, fess up the password of the day and try out the drinks. Which are superb. From the Revolver and La Perla to the Democrat and Blackberry Bramble, the list is extensive. Hopefully in time, the bartenders and staff will realise who the customer is and this spot will settle in to becoming a nice bar.
