Murano, Paris' first "Urban Resort", makes a play for the Hotel Costes client on the edge of the Marais – actually near where our ed. in chief was born. Funny. We like best that of the three pools, two of them are private. With warm yellow lighting that can change for a guest’s desires in bright white rooms, and Marrimekko-esque prints, the interior by Christine Derory and Raymond Morel isn’t like anything else we’ve seen before. None of the faux minimalism here. There’s the requisite bar and restaurant, an Anne Sémonin spa – all of which will be overseen by Jérome Foucaud.
