Yes it's at the corner of Tourist and More Tourists, but the menu by Pascal Rigo, at the new restaurant above the Oliviers & Co and L'Occitane shops, stopped us in our tracks. Between the Greek yoghurt with lavender madeleines and the crazy inexpensive ($4!) quiche at brunch, and the melt- in- your- mouth lamb chops over our childhood favourite, ratatouille, and apricot basil tartes during dinner, this spot was like having a bit of our summers in the South of France brought to Manhattan. The best part is that half the ingredients from the menu are in the shop below so that you can attempt to recreate Provence at home.
