We like Roy Liebenthal. Why? Because after years of being in the hoi polloi of model central, he's still a fun guy who believe it or not, does care about the little people. Liebenthal (the legendary Cafe Tabac, the Lemon, Pop) and designer Ali Tayar's little fast food counter is exactly that during the day. Fast food. Burgers, hotdogs, onion rings, and fries. Only leave it to Roy to throw open the doors during the Spring '04 Fashion Week with a party for Bridget Hall, attended by Gisele Bundchen, Damon Dash, and Woody Harrelson. And even before that? Jermaine Dupri's pre-MTV VMA Party with L.A. Reid, Usher, Method Man, Sean Paul, Serena and Venus Williams. Think they came in drive-thru style? Wrong, the back lounge is also (natch) it's own styling space with the typically more complicated lounge snack foods. Not that you come for the food; we just wonder if Gisele will always be offering up a little fries with her shake at all the branches Roy plans to open.
