Ah the Westway. How many times we've listed you. How many times you keep threatening to open. Or is it re-open. We can't keep track. Either way, this grubby club, which we swear reminds us of the days when this corner of the West Village was home to SROs and other questionable elements remains grimy and true to its origins. (It was a dirty strip club.) There's less people taking off their clothes now; hipsters don't want to part with that $1000 Alexander Wang! But late at night, there's still people getting their groove on. Bouncing from here to the nearby equally grimy hotel bars, it's become a spot for fashion week after parties as well.
