This is the latest incarnation of the Versace mansion after the failed Casa Casuarina. The building is only partially utilised (as can be seen from the Dream pool deck right behind) with just ten suites from event planner Barton G Weiss. A complete restoration has stone and marble floors, frescoed ceilings, stained glass windows and the bubbling fountains looking new again. And of course gold is back everywhere. Afternoon tea and dinner in the restaurant are open for reservations for those who don't want to splurge on a stay but of course those who do, will find they have access to their own personal butler.
