The French row that is now King's Road can't help but include Sandro; a store which could be considered the Gap meets Banana of France. Well, okay, a bit pricier. Full of classics with that extra French zing, this place does jackets particularly well. Some items have fringe or a motorcycle bent or a slight nip and a tuck here making them more than a basic. Skirts get special prints and dresses get extra piping. Even an athletic sport short is raised to a higher, chicer level. The only criticism we have for these women's and men's togs is that they tend to flatter only the very svelte. Caveat emptor.
