Anyone who has dined at Nobu at The Metropolitan Hotel can attest to its brilliance, as well as its frenetic pace. For those of us secure enough to dine without the presence of a Spice Girl or footballer, there is now Ubon (Nobu backwards). Nobu's sister eatery in Canary Wharf offers a gorgeous room and dazzling view of the Thames. And better yet, a pace more suited to enjoy the Japanese cuisine. So, if you find yourself up for the trip, Ubon is worth it.
