This weird and friendly club is doing something right. Former Pop space has a mish mosh of decor and music. There's armchairs and bead curtains, glowing 60s mural walls and neon bars, there's 1950s music and today's chart toppers. It's neither punk nor pop but perhaps a bit of everything in between. Party nights have wild and controversial names such as the Smash and Grab (hmmm), EuroTrash and Fourplay, it's the £15 cover charge that keeps this place (fits about 250) from overflowing. An added plus is their occasional discovery of major acts; VV Brown and Lady Gaga have both played here.
