The old Hippodrome is reborn as the Cirque. As the Hippodrome, the place was horrible, cheesy and filled to the rafters with underage kiddies who didn't mind shelling out the massive fee to shake their uncoordinated groove thing. Well, it remains to be seen whether a good opening as Cirque can last. Hosting the Harper's Bazaar launch complete with Dita Von Teese doing her groove thing, expect on more regular nights, less nudity but same trapezey stunts, performers, pop chart music and unfortunately still a hefty cover.
