Le Baron 29 Old Burlington Street Bringing louche to London is André Saraiva's spot. A bit of East London - or rather Paris - it's not the first spot to come from overseas. And as Londoners love their themes and gimmicks, the Frenchified hipness has carried over. Attracting perennial partyers Beth Ditto and Kate Moss, this bar is basically what you expect from Saraiva; a bit dirty, a bit raunchy, you hope everyone drinks too much, stumbles out the door with messed- up hair and smeared mascara, promptly falling off the pavement into a spread in the Daily Mail. |
