Tamarai Bar 167 Drury Lane 011 44 207 831 9399 Will the Pan- Asian thing never die? Nope, no, it won’t. It will just get more VIP! The perfect bar food when it's not really about the food, this spot hosts a who’s who of Brit celebs such as Jimmy Choo, Paul Smith, Nick Rhodes, Camilla al Fayed, Julien MacDonald and Tracey Emin. They've all come through the door of this pan- Asian restaurant and late night venue on Drury Lane. If you didn’t make it for the Tatler Jimmy Choo 10th anniversary party or the Dylan Jones’ book launch then stop in for fig martinis created by The Gorgeous Group (Ling Ling at Hakkasan, Dorchester Bar and Apartment 195). Though the food gets mixed reviews, we do like the late night bar platters of sweet chilli prawns and tenderloin satay. And we love the tunes by resident DJ Jim Wood (Hakkasan, Cocoon and Shochu Lounge). Come hang out with us till 3 on Fridays and Saturdays! |
