From repeat offenders Michael Schlow and partner Christopher Meyers (now -defunct Cafe Louis, wildly popular Radius) is this fantastic Italian spot, Via Matta. Best is chef Luis Morales' spicey squid with capers and olives, the fig bread pudding, and the house signature drink, the basil lime gimlet. The Enoteca bar inside with only 40 seats is intimate and serves up all day long.
